The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE or CoE) was responsible for contructing, and remain responsible for managin, many of the large reservoirs located in the state of Kansas. Facilities in Kansas are managed by two USACE districts: most of the northern part of Kansas is under control of the USACE Kansas City District, and most of the southern part if managed by the the USACE Tulsa District.
Camping facilities USACE sites range from primitive tent-only campsites to full-utility RV campsites (which may be used by tent campers as well).
