Milford Lake: West Rolling Hills Park

West Rolling Hills Park provides campsites on the southern shores of Milford Lake, near Junction City, Kansas. "With rolling terrain and great views of the lake and dam, West Rolling Hills is a wonderful place to bring the famity for a campout! A playground and swimming beach for the kids; hot showers and flush restrooms for the grownups."

West Rolling Hills Park offers both RV and tent campsites. Each full campsite can accommodate an RV or a vehicle, but may be used by tent campers as well. The campground includes restrooms, showers, picnic shelters, and drinking water. The fee campground is only open from April 15 through October 31. Sites start at $12 per night.

West Rolling Hills Park also offers three free camping loops, which are open throughout the year, for primitive tent camping only.

Other campgrounds at Milford Lake include Curtis Creek Park, Farnum Creek Park, School Creek Park, Timber Creek Park, and Milford State Park. Some of these sites offer only pay camping, while others offer a mixture of pay and free tent camping opportunities.

Also be sure to check out the nearby Milford Lake Trails, which offer over 35 miles of trails open for hiking, backpacking and biking.
