Many communities in Kansas – counties, cities, small towns – provides parks for their citizens, and for visitors as well. Some parks offer camping facilities, and some do not. Facilities range from primitive tent sites to full-utility RV sites. Some are free, and others charge a (typically modest) fee. The following parks are ones which advertise or provide information on the web. Other parks are less well-known. If in doubt as to whether you can camp in a community park, ask the local police – they'll either grant permission, tell you how to pay, or be able to suggest other local camping or lodging options.
