Watco Trail

Watco Trail is a paved rail-trail in the heart of Pittsburg, Kansas. It is built on a former Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way. The trail begins at Trail Head Park at 11th and Broadway in downtown Pittsburg, and runs southwesterly for about one mile, to 1st and Georgia Street.

Watco Trail is maintained by the city of Pittsburg. The trail runs diagonal to the street grid, so there are over 20 road crossings along the route, each one with bollards and signs. Yield to any on-street traffic.
