The Publik Bike Station is a bicycle-sharing program in Hutchinson, Kansas. The bikes have been provided by citizens of Hutchinson, decorated by local artists, and then placed on the streets for public use. They are free to use by anyone in the community, resident or visitor. The Publik Bike Station has grown out of the Publik Bike Projekt which started in Hutchinson Kansas in 2008.
The Publik Bike Station is located behind the Downtown Hutchinson Fire Department. Its mission is to provide the community with free bikes to ride in Hutchinson, and a community center with access to repairs and air, maps and bike safety information. Phone: (620) 899-4060.
