The Tumbleweed Tour for Tykes is an annual charity bicycle ride in Hays, Kansas. The event benefits the Hays Area Children's Center, which provides free services to disabled children. Grab your bike and join this scenic tour of Ellis County, featuring some of the best local cuisine. Many routes to choose from, ranging from 5 to 100 miles. There will be a "Go Fish" poker run. The top three hands will win great prizes.
Riders will leave HACC, 94 Lewis Drive in Hays, at 9 a.m. and depart on a tour of scenic and historical sites in Ellis County. Route options range from 5 to 100 miles. A $40 entry fee includes two meals, snacks and drinks at SAG stations along the route, and an event t-shirt. Please RSVP to Kaley@hacc.info or call (785) 625-3257 by April 15. Free lodging is available by request the Friday night before the event.
