The Tour of Lawrence is a three-day cycling race taking place over the Fourth of July holiday, and features events with professional, amateur, and youth divisions competing in three races:
- The Street Sprint is proposed for 14th Street between Tennessee St. and Oread Ave. This short sprint course traverses a hill that will challenge even the strongest rider, with great opportunity for spectators to enjoy the show.
- The Criterium will use the streets of Historic Downtown Lawrence, a route that has proven to be an excellent course for both riders and spectators in the past, during recent Collegiate National Championships.
- The Campus Race is a five-mile circuit race on the main campus of the University of Kansas . This offers an architectural and cultural backdrop that will enhance the experience for both riders and visitors. Riders will loop the course multiple times, based on their registration category.
