The Sunflower Suffrage Ride takes place in cities throughout Kansas in homage of Susan B. Anthony, and all registration fees and donations go towards the non-profit Kansas National Organization for Women.
The South East Kansas edition of the Sunflower Suffrage Ride takes place in Pittsburg, with a 15-mile route beginning and ending at Lincoln Park and 9th Street. Participants will be gathering at 9am, and the ride will start at 9:30am.
When you register you get a free t-shirt shirt, you are supporting the lobbying of women's reproductive rights in Kansas, and are able to socialize with some really awesome feminists!
