The Sand Plum Bicycle Classic offers 13-mile, 28-mile, or 50-mile routes through Reno County, Kansas. This is not a race, but a fun ride for all to enjoy. Ride at your leisure. There is also a 5-mile family route available.
Your registration fee includes a t-shirt and snack and drink stops along the tour. The Classic starts at the stop at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas. Children under age 14 are not charged a registration fee, but are welcome to go on the ride. All riders must wear a helmet.
Proceeds from the ride benefit the Friends of the Trail fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation to support the walking/cycling trails in Reno County.
