Pedaling 4 Parkinson's

Pedaling 4 Parkinson's is a charity bike ride starting in Creekside Park in Glendale, Colorado. The ride takes place along the Cherry Creek Trail, through Cherry Creek State Park, along the C470 trail, to the South Platte trail and back to Creekside Park. There will be rest stops every 10 miles with drinks/snacks/encouragement! Riders can choose from three routes: Century, Metric Century, and Ten-Mile.

Pedaling 4 Parkinson's is hosted by a Denver nonprofit called 3 4 Fighting Parkinson's. The proceeds of the event benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Whether you're a rider, sponsor, or volunteer, every effort counts.

Parkinson's Disease is a chronic, nervous system disorder affecting the brain, with subtle symptoms that get worse over time. Recent efforts have resulted in dramatic improvements in the treatment of those symptoms, but there is no known cure yet. Bicycling has recently been found to be an effective treatment for many people dealing with the rigors of Parkinson's Disease, which makes it a perfect activity for those who want to help.
