Kool-Aid Classic Bicycle Tour

Thousands of "kids" of all ages gather in Hastings, Nebraska the second full weekend of every August to celebrate the invention of Kool-Aid, Nebraska's Official Soft Drink, by Edwin Perkins in 1927. The festival features the World's Largest Kool-Aid Stand, giant inflatable rides, carnival games, festival foods, trolley rides through the Hastings Historic District and many other events, including the Kool-Aid Classic Bicycle Tour.

Tour the scenic, paved country roads surrounding the birthplace of Kool-Aid. Choose from 20, 40, or 65-mile routes with several rest stops along the way. Proceeds from the ride are donated to the construction and beautification of the Pioneer Spirit Trail.
