The Kansas Fat Tire Festival is a two-day mountain bike event on some of the most picturesque bike trails in Kansas. The event takes place each May at Hell Creek State Park, Lake Wilson, Kansas.
Saturday morning is the Hillclimb event and in the afternoon is the Short track race, Sunday morning is the kids race and the Rollercoaster Cross-Country. The Cross-country course is a 13 mile loop with varying laps according to skill division. The Hillclimb is approximately 1-mile with all classes going the same distance. The Short course is approximately 1.5 mile multiple laps depending on division.
The Kansas Fat Tire Festival is presented by Golden Belt Bicycle, Great Bend, Kansas. It is part of the United Federation of Dirt series.
