The KC WOW Bike Festival is a celebration of cycling ... Kansas City Style!
The festival takes place at Shawnee Mission Park in Shawnee, Kansas. Bring your bike(s) and join in one of the many group rides on low-traffic park roads, or on the new mountain bike trails. Or grab one of the demo bikes available and ride something new! The festival will offer rides for all abilities and experience levels, led by seasoned cyclists both on and off road.
Bring the kids to the bicycle rodeo where they can learn to ride safely around the neighborhood. (There will likely be free helmets, too!)
The festival will also feature clinics covering riding to work, running errands by bike, recreational riding -- solo and in groups, preparing for a first triathlon, riding with kids, bike racing (all flavors), training, bike fit, nutrition and much more.
The KC WOW Bike Festival is organized by Kansas City Women on Wheels.
