The CoCo Century is a remarkably flat road bike route through various rural communities in Southeast Colorado, starting and ending in Ordway, Colorado. Come and enjoy a great venue for your first time century, a chance to beat your personal best time, or just have a blast with the rest of us benefiting a truly great organization, Arkansas Valley Hospice.
The CoCo Century is organized by a group of bike riders in southeastern Colorado. The route is over rural paved roads. Much of the time you will be able to ride 2-3 abreast, but there are sections where you will need to be single file. The entire course is remarkably free from steep grades. There are two or three small hills, but they are more accurately called bumps for those used to riding in Colorado. You will be riding past produce fields, ranch land, and through 9 small towns.
The ride is a fund-raiser for Arkansas Valley Hospice, an organization that provides services for three counties in Southeast Colorado.
