Chili-Bike

Enjoy a chili - stew - soup extravaganza on the annual Chili-Bike, sponsored by the Stillwater Red Dirt Pedalers bicycle club. The event takes place at Lake McMurtry in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and consists of two separate, concurrent rides:

• Mountain Bike Event - There are four trails at Lake McMurtry, each about seven miles long. The Challenge is to ride all four McMurtry trails (2 on each side of the lake) during the 6-hour time span of 10:00 am to 4 pm. The Ultimate Challenge is ride all four trails plus the 10 miles of dirt roads between the east and west sides in less than 6 hours.

• Road Bike Event - Distances of 22, 44, or 66 miles

Proceeds of this event go to the maintenance of the Lake McMurtury Trail System. All participants receive a free event T-shirt and free lunch. You better bring your arm warmers because it's going to be CHILI!
