The Buffalo Bicycle Classic is an annual ride in Boulder, Colorado. The event brings much-needed funding to students in the College of Arts and Sciences, and is a unifying experience for the University of Colorado, the Boulder area, and the Colorado community at large.
All longer Buffalo Bicycle Classic routes follow the beautiful back roads of northern Boulder and southern Larimer Counties, favoring quiet roads near the foothills to busy city traffic. Riders can choose from 35, 50, 70, and 100 mile courses.
The shorter family ride, aka. "The Little Buffalo," passes 14 miles through the south side of Boulder, winding along the city's world-renown bike paths and a few of its quietest roads, where stunning views of the nearby mountains await.
