Punk Rock Cycling

Punk Rock Cycling is a Des Moines, Iowa women's bicycle racing team that features some of the strongest riders in the Midwest as well as up-and-coming stars. Punk Rock Cycling is Kelli Mente, Christina Maravelas, Ana Nelson, Maria Ruhtenberg, Emily Schaapveld, Keely Shannon, Sara Broek, Heather Myer-Davis, Keri Blake, Alison Doyle, and Alaina Spaur. Punk Rock Cycling is sponsored by the Elder Corporation, Wexford & James, Rasmussen Bike Shop, Specialized, RBS Training Systems, Visionary Services, Shimano, Chrome, and Oakley.

The club hosts a number of races, including weeknight criteriums, duathlons, cyclocross races, and alleycat races. In addition to races, the club also hosts regular recreational rides, social events, and educational events such as clinics and demo rides.
